Sophia Carry-All

The Sophia Carry-All by Amy Butler is complete. I love how it turned out!

It feels so sturdy.

That zipper wasn't so hard to install. It was no piece of cake either, but very doable. The piping was much easier to do than expected.

I machine-stitched the lining to the bag exterior. I believe the instructions said to hand-stitch. I don't do hand-stitching. No offense to hand-stitchers. I love the look, but I prefer the durability of machine-stitching over hand-stitching.

The interior is very roomy. I was able to stuff a water bottle, juice box, gold fish, little mermaid costume, little mermaid figurine, camera, wallet, glasses, and keys in the Sophia Carry-All. :)

I used Joel Dewberry Ginseng home decor fabric, faux suede, and corduroy for the handles.

  1. Your bag looks great! I'd feel safer with machine stitching on a bag too :)
