Swedish Bloom Block

I finally received the fabric I ordered about two weeks ago. I am so not patient <rolling my eyes>. Apparently, my fabric was involved in a train derailment somewhere in Texas. I think incidents like this only happen when I really want to start a new project. I had to wait, and wait <twiddling thumbs>. Last night the package showed up at 7 PM. I quickly put the Gingers to bed, and started cutting up fabric.

This is a foundation paper pieced swedish bloom block. I showed the finished block to Ginger #1, and she swooned..."I love it! That's sooo awesome!" How's that for job satisfaction?! This will go into a quilt for Ginger #1.

Have a great day!

  4. Such a happy looking flower! Job well done for sure ... I hate waiting for fabric too ... we always have to wait about 3 weeks for stuff to arrive from the US to AUS - patience is certainly not one of my virtues :)
