A Finished Repository Mini

Yesterday, I thought the repository block would make a nice throw pillow, but I changed my mind this morning. No shock there. I've always wanted a color wheel poster in my sewing room. This suffices nicely. So it is now a wall hanging, and will be a welcome addition hanging above my sewing machine.

The backing turned out nicely too.

The repository block was entered into the Accuquilt Block Contest. You can still vote for it and others I designed here.

The new Juki is preforming nicely. The walking foot with this machine is much heavier than my Kenmore walking foot. It made the quilting and binding easier than ever. Every stitch is perfect. I am so happy with this machine!

PSA: The Sew Mama Sew Giveaway ends on Friday, the 16th, at 5 pm.

Thank you for visiting!

  5. I am a sucker for color, and this is gorgeous. I LOVE the text print on the back--is that Ikea fabric? It would have made a perfect pillow backing ;) I would have done the same as you, though--wall hanging my sewing space! I'm sure looking at this gorgeous quilt will make you happy as you create more beautiful things!
